Governor Kathy Hochul is pushing S-5974/AB5611 — nasty legislation that would force gun owners to carry $1,000,000 in civil liability insurance just to own a firearm!
This isn’t a joke; it’s a direct assault on your Second Amendment rights.
You can tell that because the bill was jointly filed in both chambers, it’s not just a ‘statement bill’ that is filed and forgotten about.
Our sources indicate that Hochul is hell bent on passing this!

Don’t forget the backdrop to this: crime is skyrocketing!
R@pes are up 22% in New York City. Murders up 33% in Rochester over the last few years. Aggravated assaults are up nearly 40% statewide. Despite this, Hochul wants to disarm us!
These bills could even require insurance for every gun you own, making it virtually impossible to be able to legally buy a gun.
Don’t forget, former Governor Andrew Cuomo banned this insurance in New York State. He called it “Murder Insurance,” ran the companies that sold it out of the state and fined them!
So it’s illegal to buy this insurance, and, without it, we can’t own a gun. It’s a trap, and Hochul is hell bent on passing it!
