Let’s get one thing straight up front:
National Constitutional Carry is the gold standard. No permits. No bureaucrats. Just freedom.
But until Congress has the spine to pass it, H.R. 38 — National Reciprocity is a damn good step in the right direction.
This bill says that if you have a concealed carry permit in your state, it’s valid across the country — just like your driver’s license.
President Trump has publicly called on Congress to pass H.R. 38. The bill has 184 cosponsors. It’s sitting in the Judiciary Committee.
And yet…
FOUR of New York’s Republican Congressmembers are REFUSING to support it.

➡️ Rep. Andrew Garbarino: (202) 225-7896
➡️ Rep. Nicole Malliotakis: (202) 225-3371
➡️ Rep. Mike Lawler: (202) 225-6506
These four Republicans love to call themselves “pro-gun.”
They want your vote, your money, and your trust. But when it’s time to actually do something for gun owners in Congress? They vanish.
They’re hoping you won’t notice.
They’re hoping you’ll stay quiet.
They’re hoping you’ll forget before 2026.
We won’t.
Gun owners are under attack in every corner of New York. From Hochul’s gun bans… to ammo restrictions… to mental health exams for gun owners.
And now, these four Republicans won’t even cosponsor the most popular pro-gun bill in Congress?
Unacceptable.

H.R. 38 is backed by nearly 200 Republicans and Donald J. Trump himself. What’s stopping these four? Political cowardice.
We’ve had enough of that in New York.
The ONLY reason we’ve stopped so many gun control bills in Albany is because grassroots gun owners refused to tolerate weak Republicans who talk tough at home but go soft in D.C.
It’s time to remind LaLota, Garbarino, Malliotakis, and Lawler that gun owners are watching.
And we don’t reward cowardice.
We expose it.
