As the dust settles on the Big, Beautiful Bill fight in Congress, gun owners are still extremely frustrated.
What began as the best chance in decades to deregulate suppressors and SBRs by removing them from the National Firearms Act ended up being a mere reduction in the tax stamp.
And merely lowering this tax stamp from $200 to $0 was not what gun owners fought so hard for during the 2024 elections.
This was supposed to be our chance to score massive wins.
But as you may have already heard, this didn’t happen because almost every national gun rights organization signed an open letter to John Thune telling him they would accept this deal…and almost no one called them out for it.
But we did. Our sister state organizations did. And our national affiliate (the American Firearms Association) did.
As a result, Guns and Gadgets, a popular ‘GunTuber’ released a video attacking me and my brothers for the work that we do here in New York State — and across the country — for the Second Amendment.
Now, you may not have seen this.
But his attack was a cut and paste of dozens of similar attacks from The Trace, The Daily Beast, The Washington Post, and more.
So with session adjourned for the year, I thought this was the perfect time to do a long form video with several of my brothers answering common questions like:
