Help Us Crush Hochul’s 11% Tax on Guns and Ammo!

While gun owners across New York are watching the budget fight in Albany, Kathy Hochul’s allies have filed a brand-new attack on your gun rights — and it could start moving fast.

S. 5813 would impose a crushing 11% excise tax on firearms, firearms components, and every round of ammunition sold here in New York State!

That means if you buy a $20 box of ammo, Hochul’s tax would slap another $2.20 on top of it — on top of existing federal taxes!

Buying a standard, off-the-shelf, Mosberg 500 would cost you an additional $55.

This bill doesn’t just attack the 2nd Amendment. It financially punishes anyone who exercises their Second Amendment rights – in an attempt to make it that much harder for us to buy guns!

And what happens to the money?

It’s dumped into a new “Gun Violence Prevention and School Safety Fund” — which means anti-gun propaganda, bloated government programs, and research aimed at destroying our gun rights in court.

Of course, Hochul isn’t studying the impact of Bail Reform.

She’s not studying the impact of firing 2,000 corrections officers.

And obviously Hochul won’t spend a penny to study how many innocent people have been r@ped, killed, or robbed because we aren’t allowed to defend ourselves in New York State!

If this bill passes, New York would become one of the only states in America to double-tax law-abiding gun owners at the state level. And you can bet this is just the beginning.

That’s why the New York State Firearms Association is fighting back — but we need your help to crank up the pressure.

Sign your petition opposing S5813 right away.

>>> OPPOSE THE 11% GUN & AMMO TAX! <<<

And after you do, please chip in $100, $50, or even just $25 to help us mobilize tens of thousands of gun owners to help stop this bill cold!

The bill was filed late in the session, we may be able to stall it out with enough pressure from gun owners.

Please act fast!

Aaron Dorr
