Like all dictators throughout history, Kathy Hochul’s hatred for gun owners is limitless. She wants all of us disarmed.

Now she’s had her allies here in Albany file legislation to ban Glocks and other common semi-automatic handguns in New York.

This has nothing to do with crime.
This has nothing to do with public safety.
And this has nothing to do with helping New Yorkers.

The excuse Hochul is using is “Glock switches.”

Here’s the truth: Glock switches are already illegal, even though they shouldn’t be. So anyone caught with one is already committing serious crimes.

If Hochul really wanted to ‘go after the bad guys’ all she would have to do is have New York’s law enforcement agencies enforce existing law. Instead, this is cover for a big gun ban!

This is the Democrats’ playbook nationwide:

• Flood the country with illegals
• Let violent criminals walk free
• Eliminate cash bail requirements
• Feign shock when crime explodes
• Punish gun owners for what they did

We knew this was coming.

First it was the .50-caliber ban.
Then the gun-insurance scheme.
Now they’re coming for Glocks.

Please don’t sit this one out if you don’t have a Glock, or if you don’t like Glocks. If they get away with banning Glocks, this won’t be the last handgun they target.
