Things are melting down across New York State as Kathy Hochul’s ammo registration database (run by the State Police) is leaving law abiding New Yorkers unable to buy ammo!

We’ve been flooded with calls, emails, and Facebook messages from gun owners who are unable to buy ammunition right now because the computer system is dead — and has been for two days!

In fact, when I personally went to try to buy ammunition at the Canandaigua Wal-Mart and Runnings locations, I was unable to because the stores couldn’t log into the new system.

(I took this picture at the Canandaigua, NY Runnings gun counter earlier today. I was told that over 20 people had been turned away from buying ammo this morning alone! )

This is insane. But it is exactly what Kathy Hochul wants: you and I unable to buy ammunition even while criminals across the state are still able to get all the ammunition they want.

That’s why, just hours ago, I told our legal team to prepare a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) immediately! As things stand right now, I hope to have this filed in the morning!

But I need your help to pay for all of this. In fact, I need to raise $23,250 immediately!

Many of you have made generous donations in the last 48 hours to help us recoup a portion of our expenses related to filing our lawsuit — and for that I’m truly grateful.

But we have a long way to go.

The good news is that if we are successful, the entire ammo background check/registration system may be put on hold until our lawsuit has been heard in court!

As I told you last night, we can’t fix this in Albany.

It must be handled in Federal Court.
