Kathy Hochul is going for broke!
Despite having the last gun control bill she signed into law headed to the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals next month where it may be struck down, Hochul’s trying to go even further.
That’s why Kathy Hochul’s leading ally in the State Senate, James Sanders, just filed S-4126, legislation that would mandate a mental health exam before you or I can buy a gun!
No, this is not a joke.
The bill has been filed here in Albany, and it’s already been referred to the Senate Codes Committee.
New Yorkers are used to dealing with non-stop gun control bills and laws coming out of Albany, but S-4126 would unleash tyranny like we’ve never seen anywhere in the nation!
You see, Kathy Hochul and the Commies here in Albany want the ability to snap their fingers and disarm their political opponents, using these bogus mental health tests as cover.
That’s why they are pushing S-4126…this bill would require a mental health background check on every gun owner in the state, every time you try to buy a firearm!
And it’s a sure bet that if you admit to loving our country, our flag, our Second Amendment, or our Founding Fathers, you’re not going to pass this ‘test.’ In fact, you’ll likely be labeled a domestic terrorist by the Biden Administration!
That’s why I hope you’ll sign your OFFICIAL PETITION against this garbage legislation, telling the politicians in Albany that you are 100% opposed to this tyrannical garbage.

It’s important that you do so that we can show the legislature how many gun owners are opposed to this tyrannical legislation!
Obviously, no gun owner wants a criminally deranged person walking around carrying a gun. But there is already a process in place to deal with people like that.
Just consider the facts.
Under current law, those who exhibit ‘warning signs’ can already be detained by law enforcement — at a minimum — and can be taken to a care facility for treatment if necessary.
But this legislation has nothing to do with attempting to help individuals who need mental health treatment.
On the contrary, this legislation is about authorizing Governor Hochul to totally weaponize ‘mental health staffers’ across the state and instruct them to deny your right to own a firearm for just about any reason they want!
It wouldn’t matter if you’ve not been charged with a crime!
It wouldn’t matter if you have a spotless record!
It wouldn’t matter if you’ve been a gun owner for decades!
That’s because this legislation has nothing to do with public safety; rather, this is a tool for radical socialists in Albany who want to break the backs of gun owners in this great state once and for all.

Tyrannical dictators have been labeling political opponents as ‘mentally defective’ as a way to punish them for a very long time.
Former Russian leaders Stalin, Khrushchev, and Brezhnev imprisoned countless people who disagreed with their Communist agenda, leaving them in prison or labor farms or worse…
China’s Chairman Mao did this too, denying people who questioned him the right to vote, travel, and much more, claiming that they were mentally defective.
And now Governor Hochul — who is as demented as any of the names mentioned above — is trying to do the same thing: use the results of a politically motivated mental health test against gun owners who disagree with her agenda.
This is the very definition of tyranny! So please sign your petition against this bill immediately!
The NYS Firearms Association is doing everything we can to sound the alarm about this bill right now, so that we can FLOOD the legislature with calls and emails and petitions in opposition to this legislation!
Some people have suggested that this legislation isn’t that dangerous, assuming that the Supreme Court would surely strike it down if signed into law.
That may be true. But as we all know, it takes YEARS to get a case before the Supreme Court and that only happens if they voluntarily agree to hear the case in the first place.
And with the radical left threatening to pack the court with anti-gun leftist judges, we simply can’t sit back and hope for the best. We must stop this right now, in Albany!

I don’t know what you can afford. But I do know that this is the biggest threat that we’ve ever faced as gun owners, and time is not on our side.
I don’t know about you, but the idea of letting Governor Hochul and her allies label proud gun owners as mentally defective without fighting back with everything we have, is simply not an option for me.
Some people say that New York State is gone, and that we should all just move away. But I don’t believe that, not for a second! I meet wonderful people every single day, patriots, who care deeply about our flag, our nation, and this great state!
In many ways, freedom in this great country got its start right here in New York State, where over one-third of our nation’s Revolutionary War battles were fought!
We cannot give up. Our forefathers stood for freedom and carved out the greatest country the world has ever known, freeing us from the tyranny of Europe.
