The 2022 session of the New York State legislature has officially kicked off here in Albany, and with this being an election year, EVERYTHING IS ON THE LINE!
As always, the NYS Firearms Association will be leading the fight to defend your right to keep and bear arms in the legislature all session long — and giving you action alerts so that you can help us fight!
But given how fast the legislature moves gun control bills (normally in the middle of the night,) I need you to take action on two of the biggest threats we are facing RIGHT AWAY!
That’s why I hope you’ll send this PRE-WRITTEN EMAIL to the politicians in Albany right now, demanding that they oppose any effort to pass A-7771 -– mandated mental health exams for gun owners.

But that’s far from the only threat facing gun owners this year. Other legislation, A-581, would require you to buy civil liability insurance before you could apply for a pistol permit.
And since this insurance coverage isn’t available here in New York State, not to mention being completely unconstitutional, it would effectively end the sale of handguns across the state!
So please send a second PRE-WRITTEN EMAIL to your legislators, insisting that they oppose A-581, too!

Your activism has never been more important!
You see, the legislature is at war with itself right now in Albany as the AOC-style communists want to pass these bills, while Democrats in vulnerable seats are scared to.
So if gun owners CRANK UP THE HEAT we can defeat this tyrannical garbage and send a message to the legislature that gun owners are going to hold them accountable at election time!
