A Criminal for Defending Yourself Unless You’re 21!

Imagine you’re out of town for the weekend on business, leaving your 20-yr old daughter home alone while you’re away.

While asleep one night, she awakes to the sound of a violent criminal (like one of the countless felons Governor Cuomo has released from prison over the last year) trying to break through the front door.

She quickly gets up and grabs a firearm from your gun safe and takes a defensive position in her bedroom, like you’ve trained her to do, hoping that she won’t have to shoot anyone.

But after the thug breaks into your home and starts coming down the hallway to rape or kill your daughter, she does the only thing she can do, and shoots him down in self-defense.

Clear cut self-defense, right?

Yes, but that won’t matter if Assemblywoman Amy Paulin has her way, as the mere fact that she touched a firearm before the age of 21 means your daughter could be headed to prison!

Paulin’s recently released bill, AB-412, makes it a criminal offense for New Yorkers ages 18, 19, or 20 to possess a firearm for any reason other than hunting.

Sign your petition against this disgusting bill immediately!

Legislation like this — that literally outlaws self-defense for anyone under the age of 21 — is a dream come true for violent criminals who want to prey on young women, because this law would leave them helpless!

Imagine how depraved you must be to file a bill like this!

But just because it’s depraved doesn’t mean this bill won’t move, given the America-hating socialists who run the show in Albany these days.

These people are willing to do anything, pass anything, to stick up for violent criminals, while trying to punish proud gun owners like you and me just because we love the Second Amendment.

That’s why they supported last summer’s violent rioters, ended cash bail in New York State, and are trying to defund the police — while pushing for garbage legislation like this.

Don’t let them get away with it, sign your petition against AB-412 right away!

And in addition to her desire to limit young New Yorkers’ ability to defend themselves, the real purpose of this legislation is to forever severe the tie between us and the next generation of gun owners.

You see, if AB-412 passes, it would be a crime for you to teach your children or grandchildren how to shoot, until they are 21.

I don’t know about you, but my love for the Second Amendment started when I was very young, being taught how to safely operate rifles, pistols, and shotguns by my Dad.

And I now have the privilege and the responsibility of passing this love for freedom and the Second Amendment on to my sons and daughters — something I love to do.

That’s what Assemblywoman Paulin and her ilk want to stop: our love of freedom, and our passing this love of freedom down to our children.

Paulin knows that if the next generation isn’t taught these things at an early age, it won’t be long before there’s no one left to defend the Second Amendment, allowing crazed politicians to pass whatever gun control they want!

Don’t brush this off.

Paulin and her conference are gauging the resolve of gun owners, waiting to see if we mobilize against this bill, or not.

Make sure they know you are watching this bill very closely, and that you will hold anyone who supports it accountable at the ballot box, by signing your petition now!

Then please make a donation so we can get the word out about this bill. So much of what is happening in Albany these days is a virtual secret, as the public is not allowed in the building.

We are doing everything we can to make sure gun owners are aware of this legislation, so the politicians in the legislature know that we are paying very close attention.

Your gift — whether that’s $500, $50 or just $5 — will help us do that more effectively via digital ads, our email program and more. So please be as generous as you can!

We can stop this legislation, and this attack on common sense, if we flood the capitol with grassroots pressure against it.

Take action now!

For Freedom,

P.S. AB-412 was just filed in Albany, and if it passes, it would be a criminal offense for anyone under 21 to touch a firearm — even if they were trying to stop a violent home invader!

Sign your petition against this legislation right away!

And then please consider a donation, so the NYS Firearms Association can mobilize as many gun owners as possible against this bill!
